Sponsor a Child

What does Sponsorship Mean?

By sponsoring a child, you will be able to relate to one or more of our orphans individually.  Your monthly gift of $45.00 will be only a beginning.  You will also be able to send letters and small gifts to your sponsored child(ren) and receive letters in return.  You and your children and grandchildren can also exchange emails with your sponsored child(ren).  The best of all things is that if you travel to Kenya with us, you can meet your sponsored child(ren) and get the best hugs.

How to Give

Physical Needs

We provide the love of Christ, food, clothing, shelter, medical care and education to up to 60 children at any given time. The orphanage includes separate dorms for the boys and girls, an office building, a dining hall, a kitchen, a missionary house and a guest house.

Education Needs

With the challenges of the local education system, we continually search for ways to improve the education our children receive.  The includes the hiring of individual tutors to help each student with their problem areas. We also send our students who are of boarding age to the best available school even if it is not in Oyuma with the Hope Centre.

Spiritual Needs

Our goal for the children living in The Hope Centre is to know Jesus as Savior and Lord so that when they return to their home communities, they will share Christ with those who don’t know Him. This area is home to the Luo tribe which is considered an unreached people group because less than 3% have heard about Jesus.

When our children age out of the orphanage, they are fully equipped to share the Gospel. Every evening at The Hope Centre, our kids gather for a time of worship and Bible study led by our staff members. Often the older children prepare and lead a time of devotion.
